Do you provide personal care or nursing?
Our companion service does not include personal care such as bathing, dressing or toileting, physical assistance with eating or drinking, or nursing and clinical treatment. Yvonne’s nursing background informs her approach, but visits are provided as a non-medical companionship service.
How much does companionship cost?
Companionship is £28 per hour, plus travel expenses of 45p per mile when travelling. Visit length, travel arrangements and the expected cost are discussed with you before you book.
Which areas do you cover?
We serve Gerrards Cross, The Chalfonts, Denham and surrounding areas. If you are nearby, contact Yvonne with your town or postcode so we can discuss availability.
Can I enquire on behalf of a family member?
Yes. You are welcome to start the conversation for someone you care about. Their wishes, preferences and involvement are central to discussing suitable support. Please avoid sending private medical information in an initial email.
Is there a minimum visit length?
Please contact Yvonne to discuss the time you need. Visit length and availability are agreed individually before a booking is confirmed.
What checks and insurance are in place?
Yvonne is DBS checked, and Keatings has liability and indemnity insurance. You can ask Yvonne about these arrangements when discussing your needs.
How do I get started?
Call or email Yvonne to discuss who the support is for, where they live and what they would enjoy or find helpful. You can then discuss an introduction and suitable visit arrangements.
